Ask for age-appropriate veterinary records, parent information where available, temperament notes, written health policy and the purchase agreement.
Written terms before payment
Reservation terms, payment arrangements, timing and any travel costs must be confirmed in writing before any payment is made. A web inquiry does not reserve a puppy.
Prepare for homecoming
Prepare a safe space, suitable food, carrier, grooming supplies and a veterinary appointment. Ask questions whenever you need clarification.
